Is it true that nearly 70% of pets are overweight or obese?

Yes. Multiple veterinary studies and surveys have shown that over two-thirds of dogs and cats today are overweight or obese. Obesity is now considered the most common preventable health issue in companion animals, leading to reduced lifespan and increased risk of diseases such as diabetes, arthritis, and heart problems.

Is the microwave device safe for pets?

Yes. The device operates in the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band, using low-power, non-ionizing microwave frequencies that are completely safe for pets. It has been tested for over 12 months by veterinarians and does not require shaving or direct skin contact.

How is this different from a normal pet scale?

A regular scale only shows weight. Our device measures body fat, muscle, and water composition, giving a complete picture of your pet’s health. Two pets may weigh the same, but one could be obese while the other is fit — our device shows the difference.

Do I need the app to use the device?

No. The device works independently — you operate it directly, and results are shown instantly. However, all measurements are automatically synced to the app, where you can track history, trends, and personalized insights.

How accurate is the device compared to veterinary methods?

The device has been validated against gold-standard methods such as DEXA scans during development. In fact, DEXA machines are rarely applicable in veterinary practice due to cost and practicality. This makes our device the only dedicated body composition analyzer for pets, delivering highly reliable measurements for regular, at-home monitoring
